All ages from 7 years old up.
All our events take place outside and mainly in woodland and involve physical activity. Therefore a certain level of physical ability is required. We aim to make these events accessible whenever possible, within the context and limitations of a woodland setting. If you have mobility issues or other physical needs please get in touch before booking, so we can see how we can accommodate your needs.
We will be outside all day. Participants are advised to wear long-sleeved shirts and long trousers. Participants are advised to wear multiple layers to provide warmth and flexibility regarding temperature, and hats for cooler weather. It is essential that you bring a waterproof coat and waterproof trousers and good footwear. Sturdy shoes/boots. NO TRAINERS or SANDALS even if it is dry.
If you or your child suffers from severe allergies from substances such as nuts or bee stings etc, please inform us as soon as possible particularly if you think it will affect you or your child's participation in this outdoor setting and bring an epi pen or any other medication you or your child may require.
Toilet on site
Are not permitted at the workshop except assistance dogs.
Your place on a Flourish Families event is secured by booking and paying in advance, in full. If you are unable to attend an event you have booked on we will give you a 80% refund if we are able to fill your place, or you can transfer your place to a friend if you provide their name and contact details. Bookings are not transferable from one workshop to another. If Flourish Families has to cancel the event you will be offered a place on another day/ a voucher / a full refund. Old Skills New Ways shall not be liable for any cancellations, alterations or disruptions to causes beyond Old Skills New Ways reasonable control.
We ask everyone to adhere to the current social distancing guidelines and would ask you not to attend if you are feeling unwell, have a temperature or any other Covid-19 symptoms. Masks are optional as we will be outdoors at all times. In booking a place on this workshop, you are agreeing that you understand all the above and that you will adhere to Covid-19 guidelines.
By submitting this form I understand that I am responsible for my child and myself at all times during this walk. I agree to follow any guidelines given for my safety. I hold Emma Capper and Rajni Patel blameless if any harm should come to me or my children on this workshop.
As your workshop leaders we will make every effort and take all reasonable precautions to ensure safety and well-being for all involved. It is important that you take responsibility for your own well-being and safety also.By submitting this form you acknowledge that your participation in the workshop is at your own risk, and that Old Skills New Ways (Emma Capper and Rajni Patel) cannot be held liable for any harm occurring as a result of your participation.
Old Skills New Ways may use photography during activities either as a medium for participants’ educational benefit or for Old Skills New Ways business purposes such as marketing including for use on our websites and social media.
Through participation you agree to allow Old Skills New Ways to take photographs and video material for marketing purposes whether you are a parent representing your child, or a carer representing a child within your care, or for your own purposes. In circumstances where you would like to withdraw your consent for such photography for an individual child, group of children, other group or yourself you must expressly state this in writing to Old Skills New Ways prior to the workshop.
Personal data collected by Old Skills New Ways will only be used by us in order to fulfil our obligations in regard to the booking. All personal data is processed in accordance with data protection legislation.
I understand that the content of this form is confidential and will not be used by any other party besides Old Skills New Ways (Emma Capper and Rajni Patel) for the purpose of contacting me about this event and obtaining feedback.
